Terms of Service
Welcome to Podroma. These Terms govern your use of podroma.com and the related services we offer (collectively, “Podroma” or the “Service”). By using Podroma you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Podroma is a service offered by Geni360 LLC, a California limited liability company (“Geni360”, “we”, “us”). Contact: insights@podroma.com.
1. What Podroma does
Podroma fetches a podcast’s YouTube transcript, uses AI to extract key insights from the conversation, and uses web search to find recent real-world examples that illustrate each insight. You can also chat with an episode’s transcript and receive insights for new episodes by email if you subscribe to a podcaster.
2. AI-generated content — important disclaimer
Insights, examples, and chat answers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or misleading. They are not professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to investment, legal, medical, accounting, or career advice. Don’t rely on Podroma output for decisions with real consequences without independently verifying.
Web-search examples come from third-party sources Claude found at the time of analysis. Those sources may be incorrect or have changed since. We don’t verify them.
3. Your account
You can use Podroma without signing in. If you sign in via Google, you’re responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You confirm that you’re at least 13 years old.
4. Your obligations
You agree not to:
- Use Podroma in any way that violates the law or infringes someone else’s rights, including copyright.
- Submit content for analysis that you don’t have the right to submit (e.g., a podcast behind a paywall whose terms forbid third-party processing).
- Use automated tools to scrape Podroma at scale, hammer our APIs, or otherwise abuse the service in a way that increases our costs or degrades other users’ experience.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measures in Podroma.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that abuse the service. We aim to give notice when reasonable, but reserve the right to act immediately for severe abuse or legal reasons.
5. Intellectual property
Our IP. The Podroma name, logo, code, website design, and aggregated analytics belong to us.
Source material. Podcast transcripts, episode titles, thumbnails, and channel information remain the property of their respective owners. Podroma uses them under fair-use principles to provide analysis and discovery; we don’t claim ownership.
AI-generated insights. Insights and chat answers we generate for an episode are made publicly available on the episode’s page. You may share, quote, and build on them, ideally with attribution to Podroma.
Your content. Anything you type into Podroma (URLs you analyze, chat questions you ask) belongs to you. By using the service you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content to provide the Service.
6. Third-party services
Podroma relies on third-party services to operate, including Anthropic (Claude), Google (sign-in and email), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), PostHog (product analytics), Supadata (transcript fetch), and YouTube (the source of podcast content). We’re not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes in those services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Podroma is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee Podroma will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be correct.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Podroma — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.
In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of Podroma, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or by email. Your continued use of Podroma after a change means you accept the new Terms.
11. Termination
You can stop using Podroma any time. To delete your account and associated data, email insights@podroma.com and we’ll process the request promptly. We can suspend or terminate access for cause as described in Section 4.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Miscellaneous
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Podroma regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right isn’t a waiver of it.
